You could be forgiven for thinking that we are a large corporate company by looking at this site and some of those in our Portfolio. We're not. In fact, apart from some out-sourced help as required, it's just me, Chris.

Different Planet Web-Design was founded in 1999 and it brings with it a wealth of experience in the internet and multimedia area. Many small internet companies are faced with a very real problem. They simply don't have all of the skills required to produce great Internet sites. Concept development must be consistent with the clients' marketing objectives and both technical and visual professionalism must be conveyed. It is very difficult for just one or two people to have this many skills.

Larger companies, on the other hand, have all of the skills with different people, but communicating the issues throughout the organisation can be very difficult. For example, many traditional graphic designers are great at designing, but have no idea of how web pages should be designed. Technical people are great with technical issues, but have no idea about design or meeting marketing objectives. When you choose Different Planet, you're really choosing just one person who has all of these skills. Many of my competitors would say this is impossible, you need more people. But I say - "check out my work - then check out theirs". Once you've done that, I hope to hear from you. After all, more people means more overheads - and guess who gets to pay?
